EBike Hire Agreement
EBike Supply Co By proceeding with a booking, the hirer agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. HIRER ELIGIBILITY The hirer confirms that they:
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Hold a valid driver’s licence or government-issued photo ID • Are competent and confident riding a bicycle
• Will operate the eBike safely and responsibly
2. HIRE PERIOD
• Day hire: Drop-off from 9:00am and collection at 5:00pm unless otherwise agreed
• Multi-day hire: Delivery and collection times agreed at booking The hire period begins at delivery and ends at collection.
3. HIRE FEES
• Hire fees are charged per bike, per day
• Multi-day hire rates may reduce per day
• Delivery and collection fees may apply All hire fees must be paid in full prior to delivery.
4. SECURITY BOND
• A refundable security bond of $300 per bike is required
• The bond is held against damage, loss, theft or misuse
• The bond is released after return and inspection of the bike If the cost of damage, repair or replacement exceeds the bond amount, the hirer agrees to pay the remaining balance.
5. IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• A valid driver’s licence or government-issued photo ID must be provided prior to hire
• The name on the ID must match the booking details Failure to provide valid ID may result in cancellation of the hire without refund.
6. USE OF BIKES The hirer agrees that:
• Bikes will only be used on sealed roads, bike paths and approved shared paths
• Bikes will not be used off-road, for jumps, racing, stunts or reckless riding
• Bikes will not be sub-hired or used by any person not included in the booking
• Bikes will be operated in accordance with NSW road rules
7. HELMETS AND SAFETY
• Helmets must be worn at all times while riding
• The hirer is responsible for ensuring safe operation of the bike
• Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited
8. RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY
The hirer is fully responsible for the bike during the hire period, including:
• Loss
• Theft
• Damage
• Negligent use
The hirer agrees to cover all costs associated with repair or replacement of the bike if required.
9. SECURITY OF BIKES
The hirer agrees to:
• Keep the bike secure at all times when not in use
• Use locks provided where applicable
• Not leave the bike unattended in unsecured or high-risk areas Failure to secure the bike may result in full liability for loss or theft.
10. DAMAGE, LOSS OR THEFT
• Any damage must be reported immediately
• In the event of theft, the hirer must notify EBike Supply Co and relevant authorities as soon as possible
• The hirer is responsible for the full replacement cost of the bike if stolen or written off
11. BREAKDOWN OR SUPPORT
• In the event of a mechanical issue, contact EBike Supply Co immediately
• The hirer must not attempt major repairs
• Support will be provided where reasonably possible
12. BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
• 48+ hours notice → full refund or reschedule
• 24–48 hours → 50% refund or full credit
• Less than 24 hours → no refund
13. WEATHER POLICY
• Light rain or overcast conditions do not qualify for cancellation
• Unsafe weather conditions may be rescheduled or issued as a credit at EBike Supply Co discretion
14. DELIVERY & COLLECTION
• Delivery and collection details are agreed at the time of booking
• Access to accommodation or property must be arranged by the hirer
• EBike Supply Co is not responsible for delays caused by lack of access or incorrect information
15. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By proceeding with a booking, the hirer confirms that they:
• Have read and understood this agreement
• Accept all terms and conditions
• Accept full responsibility for the bike during the hire period
